About the Show
Eleanor Himmelfarb has had a long and venerated career as an abstract painter in Chicago. Her current paintings refer to motifs derived from gates, letters, and fans. Himmelfarb’s works are in public and private collections that include the Block Gallery of Northwestern University and the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC.
