Skyway Juried Art Competition
This juried exhibit features works in all fine art media by students from eight Chicago area community colleges. These colleges are College of Lake County, Elgin Community College, McHenry County College, Morton College, Moraine Valley Community College, Oakton Community College, Prairie State College, & Waubonsee Community College. Awards will be presented during the reception to outstanding students. Students must have their instructor's consent to enter this limited competition.Show Dates: TBA

The College of Lake County Student Art Competition
A juried exhibit featuring painting, drawing, computer graphics, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and sculpture by current art students at the college. The CLC Student Activities Office sponsors cash Merit Awards. The Lake County Art League sponsors two $500 scholarships for art students.Show Dates: April 17– May 16, 2009

Artist Membership
An Artist Membership to the Robert T. Wright Gallery provides many benefits including a discount on Recent Works entries (for artists who reside or work in Lake County). Membership also provides inclusion in the Annual Members Exhibition. The Members Exhibit is not restricted to Lake County artists. The Robert T. Wright Gallery accepts individual and group exhibition proposal from November 1-30, 2008 only. Proposals are considered for the following academic year and beyond. Of the eight exhibitions the gallery holds each year, only five are available for new proposals. Applicant's materials will be returned sometime during the Spring semester. Applicants must provide the following:- A cover letter
- A brief statement regarding your work
- An artist's resume that includes an exhibition record
- 10-20 labeled slides (35mm) with your name, title, date of work, medium and dimensions (height by width)
- A CD of images is optional
Holiday Art Sale
The four-day sale will include works in various fine arts media. Accepted artists are asked to provide an adequate supply of art to fill their assigned space. Artists need not be present at the four-day sale. Artwork will be on a consignment basis to the College of Lake County Foundation Cultural Committee which reserves the right to limit the number of pieces on display.- Sale Dates & Times:

Members Exhibition
A diverse group show of all fine art media by over ninety Lake County artists. Funds from artist memberships support the endowment of the Robert T. Wright Gallery.Show Dates: January 16 - February 22, 2009

Recent Works
This 28th annual competition includes all fine art media and is open to all artists who reside or work in Lake County. Approximately $2,000 will be presented in cash prizes and purchase awards for the college’s art collection.Show dates: October 3rd - November 2nd, 2008

- Works Due: 1-8 pm, Tuesday or Wednesday September 16 or 17 LRC Receiving
